Last Summer, my parents and I went to Beijing for our summer holiday. We left Nanjing at 8:00 on the morning of August 2nd, and we took the plane there. It’s a fast and comfortable journey, and we arrived in Beijing at 9:20. The weather was pleasant.
We went to see the Palace Museum as soon as we got to Beijing. We were very excited when we saw the Palace Museum and we took a lot of photos there.
On the second day of our trip, we went to see the Great Wall, It was a famous view in the world. It was very great, and a lot of tourists went to visit it every year. We listened to the tour guide, and knew more about it.
In the evening we often went shopping in the city center of Beijing---Wangfujing Street. We bought a lot of things as souvenirs.
Beijing food was very delicious, I like Beijing Duck best.
We enjoyed our trip very much. It was a happy experience and I will never forget it.

今天,我跟着奶奶,弟弟和表姐来到了田地,准备来看看平常,在菜场买到的那些菜,是怎么来的.
到了篱笆前,我看着一些植物在地里随风摆动,不由得想快点去里边有什么东西,想着,就跟着奶奶在田间小路上走了起来.
这小路还真难走,坑坑洼洼,几乎没有一处是平的.田地里种了许多农作物.突然,奶奶问我：“这是什么菜?”她指着一棵叶子尖尖如同锯齿的菜,我看了看,发现叶子下面有一根枝干和我平时吃的莴笋一模一样,但我又不敢肯定是莴笋,转身悄悄地问表姐：“姐,这种菜是不是莴笋?”表姐仔细地“研究”了一番后对我说：“应该是莴笋吧!“于是我更加肯定这是莴笋了,便胸有成竹地说：“这一定是莴笋!绝对错不了!”奶奶听了把肚皮都笑痛了,我有些脸红了,但也有些迷惑不解.于是我带着满脑子疑问去请教弟弟,弟弟对我说：“这不是莴笋,是棒菜.”这时,弟弟带着我们到真正的莴笋跟前观察,原来莴笋的叶子又圆又小啊!
过了一会儿,我们来到一块种满了卷心白菜的地里,弟弟告诉我们菜心越硬越紧就越成熟.于是我们俩开始行动起来,我东捏一棵,西捏一棵,拔了一棵又一棵.突然,我和表姐看见了一棵最大的,我拔呀拔,就是拔不动,表姐急了,把我推开,害得我差一点摔了个四脚朝天.不知怎么回事,表姐突然又把手缩了回来,我以为土太脏了,她缩回来把手擦干净,又揉了揉手指,原来菜上面有一些毛,表姐一定是被毛刺着了,可她并没放弃,又去拔,费了九牛二虎之力终于拔起了这棵白菜,我一看愣住了,这棵白菜好大喔!奶奶一看,也有些吃惊,说从来没种过这么大的白菜.
今天看到了莴苣·卷心白菜等农作物,心里不知道有多高兴,因为,我收获到了许多知识.

1.I want to have my summer holiday not that busy as I am at school. In that time, taking a good rest may be the better for me. Because I feel the courses I am taking are not very easy, so I have to work hard. Now, I am tired, and the only thing for me is relaxing! 2.Mid-autumn Day is a traditonal festival for all the Chinese people. During this festival, people will miss their family so much and they usually go back home to have a family reunion. Like Thanksgiving in American, Mid-autumn Day means a lot for the Chinese, family become more important in people"s mind in that special day. We often have mooncakes in that day as a traditon. Do you know why? The answer is mooncake is round as the moon. When having mooncakes, people like to sit under the moonlight and appreciate the beautiful sight view. 3. Yesterday, we hold a party for our new foreign teachers from America. They would teach English in our school, and this was their first time to China. They could speak few Chinese, so we communicated with each other in English. We sang some simple English songs and we danced. We felt so happy.

Dear schoolmates,
While we are sitting in our bright classroom, remember there are lots of children in the poor and disaster areas needing our help badly. Summer vacation is coming. Let" s do something to help them.
As students, we can give away our pocket money, school things, some of our clothes or toys. We can also donate some books to them in order to open up their eyes to the outside world. We may raise money for charity by collecting used bottles, plastics, waste paper and so on, or by doing part-time jobs, such as, handing out advertisements, selling newspapers , and so on. Making pen pals with them will be a better way to help deal with problems in their study.
The more we devote/do, the better our world would be!
