下课了铃声响了，同学们像回归大海的鱼儿们，兴高采烈的跑出校门! 小明和小红即使同学，又是邻居。他们也背起书包，欢快的走出校园，满心喜悦地走在回家的路上。
咦!什么味，这么臭!”他们东张西望，哦!这里有一个垃圾桶，垃圾桶的周围布满了垃圾。看到了这么狼狈不烂，臭气冲天的场景，小明和小红不由自主地皱起了眉头，心情降落到了极点。
小红不由自主地走到了垃圾桶旁，弯下腰，把地上的垃圾一点一点的丢到垃圾桶里，小红回过头，看到小明一动不动，生气了，小红:小明，你干嘛呢?快来帮我捡垃圾。” 想不到小明举起手，挠挠了脑袋，还是无动于衷。小明绞尽脑汁想了想:小红这么做能不能跟本地解决问题呢? 小明灵机一动，打开书包，取出笔和纸，铺在地上，弯下腰，在地上认认真真的写起了字。这时，小红已经捡好了垃圾，她竖起腰，转过身子一看，小明在地上写了:文明只差一步这六个大字。 “小明你在干嘛呢?”小红问。 小明没有回答，而是转过身，取出胶水把纸端端正正地贴在垃圾桶上。 “哦!”小红恍然大悟，竖起大拇指赞扬小明做得对，做得好。

我看了一张漫画，漫画里讲述了这样一个故事——
一天，阳光小学放学后，王刚和王燕燕一起走在回家的路上。一路上他们有说有笑，真快活！这时，他们正路过一个垃圾桶，不禁皱起眉头来，因为许多垃圾都躺在这个垃圾桶的周围。王燕燕是个讲文明，爱卫生的好学生，看见这满地的垃圾，她禁不住弯下腰来把垃圾捡起来丢进垃圾桶里。而王刚这个智多星却不同，他心想：照艳艳这样，等于我们每天放学后都要来这儿收拾垃圾，可这也不可能从根本上解决问题呀！我一定要想出一个绝妙的办法，让那些乱扔垃圾的人意识到自己的错误。王刚冥想了好一会儿，忽然眼睛一亮，想到了一个好主意。他急忙打开书包，拿出一张白纸，铺在地上，写了几个大字：文明——只差一步。就在王燕燕把垃圾捡完
的那一刻，王刚的字也写好了，王燕燕看了，直说：“智多星，真是个智多星！” 这张漫画讽刺了生活中不讲文明，乱丢垃圾的一些人。其实，爱护环境，我们人人都有责任，如果人人都做到了讲文明，拥有的美好家园就不会很遗憾地“只差一步”了！
为了美好家园，我举起右手发誓：我要争做文明小标兵，不做干扰社会进步的绊脚石,遇到垃圾勤捡起，要为家园增增光！
文明——只差一步
这是一幅极其简单但耐人寻味的漫画。一个小女孩和伙伴放学回家，看见路边有个垃圾桶，桶外垃圾如山，桶内却空空如也。她捡起垃圾，扔进桶里。伙伴呢，则拿出一张纸和一支笔，写下一行标语贴在垃圾桶上：“文明——只差一步！” 是啊，只要人们再往前多走一步，就可以把垃圾准确无误的丢到垃圾桶里。可是，为什么这一步大家都没有迈出去呢？也许大家都认为这只是一件鸡毛蒜皮的小事。其实，这不但影响了环境的美观，由此可能还引发细菌大量繁殖，疾病四处传播„„到最后受害的还是我们啊！
我国素有“文明古国”，“礼仪之邦”的称号。随着经济的发展，国人外出旅游的机会也多了起来。可是，我们常能看到这样的报道：一些中国人在境外旅游期间，不排队，不守时、乱吐痰等不文明行为给旅行接待团和当地居民带来种种不良影响。有些地方甚至把中国人宣布为“不受欢迎的客人”！这些游客的举止，不仅损害了自身的形象，更严重的损害了一个泱泱大国的形象。
其实，文明并不难，有时只需要小小的一步。让我们都走好这“一步”的文明吧！
