1,EMS就是Express Mail Service,邮政特快专递服务,是中国邮政的一个服务产品,主要是采取空运方式,加快递送速度,一般来说,根据地区远近,1－4天到达.
而淘宝网里所说的快递,是指目前国内市场上除了邮政之外的其他快递公司,他们也是运用自己的网络进行快递服务.市面上的公司主要有：宅急送、大田、顺丰、申通等等,全国有1000家快递公司在开展业务.
他们之间的服务性质是一样的,都是为你派送物品,区别在于,一个是国有公司,一个是民营企业,各有优势.
下面为你介绍一下主要的快递公司的情况：
国内企业：
1、中国邮政的EMS,
优点：网络强大,全国2000多个网点,让所有对手望尘莫及,而且这2000多个点都是他们自己的人,别说到县里,就是到村里,他们也可以做到.
缺点：反应速度较慢,跟踪查询有困难.
价格：20元/500克起,文件包裹价格不一样.
2、顺丰快递,
来自广东的顺风公司,最近几年发展很快.从一家作坊公司发展到一家较大规模的公司成绩有目共睹.
优点：发往珠江三角洲地区的速度和EMS差不多,价格要比EMS低一些.
缺点：发往其他地区的服务质量就很一般了.
3、申通快递,
来自长江三角洲的企业,原来是做上海周边快递起家的,现在也在北京开展业务.
优点：发往长江三角洲地区的快件和EMS差不多,价格也低一些.
缺点：和顺丰一样,有区域限制,发往其他地区的快件服务质量就一般了.
4、宅急送
国内最大的民营快递公司,网络500多个点,但大部分是合作网络,自己的点估计有100个左右.
优点：速度和EMS差不多,有些区域还要快.也能做货运.
缺点：不做文件快递.
外资企业：
从去年开始,外资企业也可以做国内快递市场了,现在全球快递巨头TNT和DHL也在开在国内快递服务.
优点：作为全球的快递巨头,虽然在中国开展业务,但速度依然是最大卖点,在他们的服务网点内,速度比EMS要快很多,查询也很到位.
缺点：网络少一些,大约100多个城市能到,不做文件,价格贵一些,DHL的要贵很多,发广州和发香港差不多了.但TNT的和EMS价格差不多,有的城市甚至还要便宜.
综上所述,建议：
如果你们公司经常发小城市,那么首选EMS,其他公司去小城市差一些.
如果你们公司只发上海、广州等这些经济发达的几十个城市,我建议你使用TNT,有实力就是不一样,确实快!我就是用的他们,DHL也很快,但就是太贵.他们的公路重货也很不错.
如果想相对便宜一些,去上海,或者广州,你也可以选择性使用顺丰或者申通,但那样就要分开结帐了.
如果你有几十吨的重货,你可以找中铁、宅急送,他们的铁路线很可靠.
2,EMS又称增强型短信,除了发送普通文字信息以外还可以发送简单的图片,声音等,基于普通网络,计费方式和普通短信类似,一般都是按照发送的字节来计算,一般情况下发送一条包含一个简单图片的EMS按2～3条普通短信收费.
